AM MotionKit is an After Effects panel with twenty-odd tools motion designers reach for every day — easing with a live preview, elastic and bounce, anchor points that don't jump, project cleanup, shape tools and SRT subtitles.
How it works
MotionKit docks next to your timeline like any other panel. Select something in After Effects, press one button, and it's done — as a single undo.

The details
Move the anchor on a rotated, scaled, parented layer and it doesn't budge on screen. AE works out the maths, not you.
AE stores speed per dimension, and position differently from everything else. The ease tool handles both, so the curve you draw is the curve you get.
Every action — tidying a hundred items, merging ten layers — comes back with a single Ctrl/Cmd + Z.
Explode and Merge switch your originals off; they never delete them. Anything the panel can't do is counted and reported, never skipped in silence.
Controls and commands are found by ID, not by English name, so everything works in a Portuguese, Spanish or Japanese After Effects.
Saved eases live in a plain file on your computer. They survive reinstalls and you can copy them to another machine.

Select layers, click once: a null appears at their centre and drives them all. Nothing moves, and existing parent links inside the selection are kept.

MotionKit is a signed extension — no Terminal, no debug mode.
Grab AM-MotionKit-1.1.0.zxp — one small signed file.
Open the free ZXP Installer (you only need it once) and drag the file onto it.
Rename the file from .zxp to .zip, unzip it, and put the AM MotionKit folder in:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/In Finder, Go → Go to Folder… and paste the path. Create extensions if it isn't there.
Restart After Effects, then Window → Extensions → AM MotionKit. Dock it wherever you like.

Yes. MotionKit is free to download and use in your work, commercial projects included. No account, no licence key.
After Effects 2023 and later, on macOS and Windows.
It's the package format Adobe uses for extensions. It carries a digital signature that proves the files haven't been changed since they were built, which is what lets After Effects load MotionKit without switching on debug mode.
MotionKit 1.0 doesn't need it, so you can. Run the same command you used for the beta with 0 instead of 1 at the end. Leaving it on is harmless.
The panel checks once a day and shows a small dot on the version number when a new version is out. Click the version number to see what's new and download it.
Yes. Everything the panel creates or calls is found by ID rather than by its English name, so localised versions of AE are supported. The panel itself is in English.
Press Ctrl/Cmd + Z — every action is a single undo. Then tell me what you were doing and what the status bar at the bottom of the panel said; that message is usually enough to find the problem.
