Coming soon Glow for After Effects
Pick a look and GlowIt lights the layer the way light really spreads: bright at the core, a long soft tail, never cut at the edge. Glow only one colour, add a haze, streaks or a prism fringe, and let it pulse on its own.
How it works
Start from a look, see the falloff curve change as you drag, then finish it with colour, streaks and motion.
Select a layer and choose one of 8 looks: Default, Physical bloom, Neon, Prism, Anamorphic and more.
Size, strength and the falloff curve, drawn live. Choose what glows: bright parts, the whole layer or one colour.
Colour, streaks, lens dirt, a haze or a hot core, and a pulse that loops. Every setting can be keyframed.
Everything inside

Size, strength, falloff.
Light with colour.
Streaks, dirt, motion.
The details
GlowIt spreads light the way it really falls off, so a small light stays small and a big one fills the room.
The glow reaches past the layer edge and the comp, so you never see it stop in a straight line.
Click a colour in the viewer and only that colour glows. No masks, no precomps.
Dark glow gives you the same soft spread on light backgrounds, where a normal glow disappears.
Pulse, breathe or flicker without a single keyframe, and it loops with your comp.
GlowIt sits next to MotionKit, BlendIt and SplashIt, and opens inside the MotionLabs Hub.
Install
GlowIt is a signed extension, like the rest of MotionLabs. No Terminal, no developer tools. Same steps on macOS and Windows.
One signed .zxp file. Coming soon — join the MotionLabs Discord to hear first.
Get the free ZXP Installer from aescripts, open it and drag the .zxp onto the window.
Restart After Effects, then Window → Extensions → GlowIt.
